Those who were eagerly awaiting new information about Disney+ received a pleasant surprise. Disney announced new details about their upcoming streaming service at an investor’s meeting today.
The streaming platform will launch November 12th with a price tag of $6.99. The screens of the interface look to be very similar to Netflix and should be just as easy to navigate. There will be landing pages for different properties such as Star Wars and National Geographic. The services will also offer profiles so family members can each save their own progress and preferences.
Among the announced shows for Disney+ are the Star Wars series The Mandalorian, a couple of different Marvel Shows based on Loki and another based on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, a High School Musical series, and a couple shows from Pixar including one based in the Monster Inc world.
Personally, I can’t wait for Disney+. While there does seem to be a new streaming service popping up every day, Disney has the quality of content that should appeal to a wide range of viewers. November 11th can’t come soon enough!
