May 2019 Disney Pin Releases

May brings another great set of pins to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Some of the pins I’m looking forward to are the 30 year anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios pins, the May 4th Star Wars Day pins, and the 2 Darkwing Duck Pins! Overall looks like a solid month as we prepare for the opening of Galaxy’s Edge! Happy Collecting everyone!

DCA Guide: Pixar Pier


The newest area at DCA is inspired by the character from the beloved Pixar films. The theming is amazing and works well with the previous Paradise Pier theme. You can soar through the sky with the Incredibles, or play games with the Toy Story gang, If you are a fan of anything Pixar, then head over to Pixar Pier.

Fantasmic and World of Color to get MaxPass support at Disneyland


Announced today at the Disney Parks Blog, visitors to Disneyland will now be able to use their Max Pass app to get a FASTPASS to Fantasmic and World of Color.

This change goes into effect today. MaxPass is an additional service that can be purchased through the Disneyland mobile app. It allows visitors to make FASTPASS selections right from their phone. It also allows guests to download PhotoPass photos.

Previously a physical FASTPASS was available at the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for these evening spectacles. Guests online have confirmed that you can make an entertainment selection then make a selection for an attraction immediately after.

Ranking the Disney Live-Action Remakes

There’s no denying that remaking past animated films has become a big part of Disney’s film strategy recently. There are no less than 4 re-makes coming out in 2019 alone! That being said, it felt like it was time to visit the remakes and see how successful Disney has been.
