What The Disney-Fox Merger Means For Fans

It’s official: as of March 20th, 2019 Disney has acquired most entertainment assets from 20th Century Fox. Last year, Disney owned 26.6% of the domestic box office while Fox had 9.1%. Combined, Disney now owns 35% of the movie market. Lets break down some of the details of the deal and what this potentially means for fans.

Captain Marvel: Review

Captain Marvel is the latest entry by Disney in their shared universe of Marvel Superheroes. It was directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, who are best known for their work on 2006’s Half Nelson. It’s the latest in a series of interesting directing choices for Disney and Marvel Studios.
